Link ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant to Cara Guest Management Platform so it can look up events, agendas, speakers, panels and your own passes on your behalf.

Set up the connection

  1. 1Open ChatGPT settings → Apps and turn on Developer mode, reading the risk notice shown there. If it isn't available, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. 2Click the “Create app” button next to the back button.
  3. 3Give it a name such as “Cara Guest Management Platform” and paste the connection address above.
  4. 4Click “Create”.
  5. 5Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Refresh after the app changes

Assistants remember what the app could do when they first connected. After we ship updates, refresh the connection to pick them up.

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's app preferences and pick this app under “Enabled apps”.
  2. 2Next to “Information”, click “Refresh”.
  3. 3If the address changed, paste the latest one from above.
  4. 4Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.
